The Kent Interdisciplinary Research Centre in Cyber Security (KirCCS) is based on the success of the Kent Interdisciplinary Research Centre in Cyber Security (KirCCS), one of only 19 centres in the UK designated as an Academic Centre of Excellence in Cyber Security Research (ACE-CSR) by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) and the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC). KirCCS’s cyber security research, particularly in its socio-technical security and privacy research topic, is expanded into broader areas like international conflict, cyber influence and behaviour, cybercrime, cyber legislation, and digital financial technology.
