The Trustless Computing Association has hosted a conference series called Free and Safe in Cyberspace since 2015 to promote its aim of drastically increasing the security, privacy, and democratic management of human communications, social networking, and AI – for everyone.
FSC has been held eight times since 2015, once in New York, once in Iguazu, Berlin, Zurich, and twice in Brussels and Geneva.
Over 120 world-class speakers, including academics, government officials, privacy activists, security agencies, and dozens of partners, have gathered to address the Four Challenges for Freedom and Safety in Cyberspace through new IT security paradigms and international governance and certification institutions.
Free and Safe in Cyberspace Conferences
These are one of the better cybersecurity conferences in Switzerland.
The Geneva-based Trustless Computing Association created and organized the Free and Safe in Cyberspace conference series to promote its mission of radically increasing the security, privacy, and democratic control of human communications, social networking, and AI while maintaining or increasing public safety.
Since 2015, there have been eight editions, including one each in New York, Iguazu, Berlin, and Zurich, as well as twice in Brussels and Geneva. Around 120 world-class speakers, including academics, government leaders, privacy campaigners, security agencies, and dozens of partners, have participated.
Every edition has been laser-focused on addressing the “Four Challenges for Freedom and Safety in Cyberspace,” and progressively deepening and broadening consensus around solutions in the form of new Trustless Computing Paradigms, the establishment of a new Trustless Computing Certification Body, and the development of the first TCCB-compliant mobile IT systems, known as Seevik Net.
The 9th Edition will be placed in Geneva on March 14-15, 2019. Following the 8th edition, which saw the establishment of the TCCB, the 9th edition will bring together representatives of states, intergovernmental organizations, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) interested in forming a joint venture to build and run such an initiative.
