More Information On Their Events

Due to the fact that ransomware is a highly profitable business, the FBI has issued a warning to all companies and local governments to be alert to the possibility of further attacks and ramifications as the conflict between Russia and Ukraine continues to escalate.

Ransomware is a sort of malware from the cryptovirology field that threatens to disclose the victim’s personal data or to block access to it indefinitely unless a ransom is paid in exchange for access to the data. While some ransomware may just lock the system without affecting any data, more complex viruses use a technique known as cryptoviral extortion to encrypt and lock the system.

Over the course of two hours, attendees will hear an update from Eric Goldstein, the CISA’s Executive Assistant Director of Cybersecurity, followed by a panel of senior experts who will discuss the impact of national and international political and legislative responses to ransomware attacks on their organizations.

Join this cybersecurity conference to:

  • Gain a 101 overview of what law enforcement is doing and how they help in the battle against ransomware
  • Determine what information law enforcement need and when to reach out
  • Assess the differing national and international efforts being constructed to deter ransomware attacks
  • Explore when, how and why to report attacks
  • Determine how to tackle global regulatory change in multiple jurisdictions
  • Debate whether payments should be made illegal

Privacy Enhancing Technology Summit Europe 2022

Data-driven initiatives have challenges due to privacy, security, and regulatory limits. This covers activities including the processing, access, monetization, buying, selling, sharing, aggregation, or analysis of sensitive data.

Many diverse sectors are deploying Privacy-Enhancing Technologies (PETs) to harness the power of sensitive data for these activities. Financial services, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, government agencies, and many more industries benefit. The conference will discuss ways to make previously difficult initiatives using sensitive data practical!

The conference also focuses on risk mitigation. It focuses on ways to prevent the possibility of data breaches or abuse – even by third parties – when data is exported, decentralized, or relocated to the cloud.

However, there are a variety of PETs that can address these issues. Choosing the correct PETs for your requirements and integrating them into your business is not always easy.

The Second Privacy-Enhancing Technology Summit Europe presents and walks you through the many sorts of PETs so that you can:

  • Make full use of sensitive or restricted data to achieve strategic goals.
  • Improve data security such that data breaches never occur, regardless of where the data is handled.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with various and growing data rules pertaining to PII.

ESG Risk Management Summit North America 2022

Climate change-related financial risk management has caught the attention of regulators, and ESG is no longer only about ethics.

Integrating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations into corporate risk management and commercial decision-making will generate new possibilities and competitive advantages.

Leading financial risk professionals will gather at the ESG Risk Management Summit North America to explore how risk assessment tools and methods need to be altered to assist corporate decision-making processes.

To stay ahead of regulatory expectations, meet, network, and interact with industry professionals.

Privacy-Enhancing Technology Summit – Asia Pacific 2022

Leading international experts from a variety of sectors in the APAC area and beyond will be present at the Privacy Enhancing Technologies conference Asia-Pacific to explore how to harness the potential of sensitive data and reduce risk.

When you:

  • Learn techniques for enabling cooperation and cross-border and silo data exchange.
  • Analyze the ways in which PETs might aid multijurisdictional compliance on the regulatory playing field.
  • Learn how to make a business case for using PETs in your organization.
  • Hear case studies on the advantages and disadvantages of using PET in the financial, healthcare, and public sectors.
  • Identify the best PET to use for the situation.
  • Examine the market trends and developments for private computers and PETs.
  • Participate in a series of roundtables focusing on specific industries and issues to interact, network, and exchange solutions that work.
  • Meet, connect with, and interact with others who are implementing and creating PETs solutions internationally.

Scaling AI Summit 2022

As worldwide enterprise AI adoption reaches “critical mass,” AI is becoming increasingly prevalent in daily life, business, government, medical, finance, and other fields. However, potential failures and associated commercial risks are also present, and as AI is scaled, problems can (and frequently do) scale as well – from autonomous collisions and algorithm bias to facial recognition blunders and chatbot slanders.

Businesses must now build supervision into AI applications and processes, minimizing risk and guaranteeing accountability without impeding innovation.

Scaling AI Summit is a one-of-a-kind venue for business leaders and technological marvels to collaborate and assess how to build revolutionary risk-averse AI systems founded on trust and reliability.

Participants will…

  • Hear the viewpoint and vision of the Board for generating long-term value through trusted AI – Bridge the gap and integrate innovation and corporate strategy with ethics, responsibility, and trustworthiness
  • Understand how and why different organizations and sectors differentiate AI, machine learning, deep learning, and neural networks internally. – Compare AI governance and risk management systems across enterprises of all sizes and industries.
  • Discuss the role of human circuit breakers in developing trust, resilience, and robustness – Investigate viable methods for overcoming data quality and compliance issues.
  • Examine AI failures and how they could have been managed, minimized, or avoided.

Privacy Enhancing Technology (PET) Summit Europe 2023

PETs Summit Europe will take place in London from February 28 to March 1, with a focus on strategy, use cases, and steps for implementing and adopting privacy-enhancing technologies.

Hear from, network with, and benchmark against industry peers and a leading speaker faculty of early adopters, innovators, and drivers over two days. Investigate how PETs enable privacy-preserving collaboration and sharing of sensitive data, as well as the unprecedented opportunities they bring.

The following are the key highlights for 2023:

  • Building and tracking the business case for PETs adoption with Banque Raiffeisen, Aston Martin, and LG Technology Ventures
  • Fexco, Danaher Life Sciences, and BT discuss how PETs can support navigating the globally fragmented data and privacy landscape
  • Identifying the correct PET(s) for the challenge with KU Leuven, What Works for Children’s Social Care, and Swiss Post
  • How Cooper & Co, Hastings Direct, and Eurostat are incorporating PETs into a broader data strategy
  • Industry focused cases studies and challenge-specific roundtable discussions

Memory Con 2023

Memory accounts for fifty percent of the cost of goods sold (COGS) for hyperscale cloud services; yet, once the cores of the servers have been rented to VMs, up to twenty-five percent of the memory resources on those servers may be stranded, or left unused. In addition, the energy consumption of future datacenters needs to be cut by at least half in order to meet the requirements. The development of new memory technologies is essential to bringing down overall costs and levels of energy usage.

The future software-defined datacenter will be composable and disaggregated, featuring tiered memory architectures that enable greater utilization and enormous capacity. This will open up a whole new world of opportunities for software applications that require a high level of processing power and artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Memory Con (MemCon) is a showcase for memory solutions, a launchpad for CXL products, and a catalyst for next-generation system architectures. The event will make use of our network within the AIHW community, and it will be conducted by hyperscalers at the advisory board and program level. This will ensure that the focus of the event is on the most important system design concerns, as opposed to isolated technology-focused sessions.
