More Information On Their Events

Tim Weller established Incisive Media in 1994 with the debut of Investment Week as a business-to-business (B2B) information and events firm. Investment Week was the company’s first event. In August of that year, it purchased Timothy Benn Publishing, which was the owner of Post Magazine. In December of 2000, it was given a listing on the main market of the London Stock Exchange, which resulted in a valuation of the company of around £73 million.

Over the course of the last decade, the company was successful in acquiring a number of companies, including Matching Hat, Risk Waters, Initiative Europe (unquote), Search Engine Strategies, Global Professional Media, Asian Venture Capital Journal, and Pacific Prospect.

However, because Incisive Media was a publicly-traded company, it was difficult to take advantage of some of the larger consolidation opportunities that were available. As a result, in December 2006, Tim Weller led a management buyout deal that was backed by Apax Partners and valued the company at £275 million.

Incisive Media successfully completed the acquisitions of MSM International and the UK publishing business VNU Business Publications Ltd, both of which were formerly a part of The Nielsen Company, from the venture capital group 3i in 2007. This took place within a few months of the company going private. The acquisition of ALM, an American magazine publisher that was financed by Bruce Wasserstein, was successfully completed by the firm in August 2007, doubling the size of the group and establishing a corporation with an enterprise value of over $1 billion.

Incisive Media’s markets, on the other hand, came under tremendous pressure after the fall of Lehman Brothers and the slump in the market for financial services, and the debt levels could no longer be sustained at their previous levels. In October of 2009, Incisive Media made the announcement that the Group’s debt will be refinanced.

Incisive completed the sale of the British publication Legal Week to the American legal business publisher ALM in January of 2016.

Cybersecurity Festival London Live 2022

This event will look at prevention through cleaning up the cyber environment, switching to a defensive approach to cybersecurity by weaponizing the internet, as well as discussing how to respond to an attack and how to rebuild after it.

This year, for this security event in London, the organizers will kick off the festival with an exclusive in-person extravaganza on Thursday, June 9 at the IEC Savoy Place in London.

To ensure that participants get the most out of taking a day away from the office, they will also have the opportunity to attend roundtables, which provide the opportunity to really delve deep into key cybersecurity issues. This will ensure that participants get the most out of taking a day away from the office. This is an opportunity not to be missed, as CISOs and IT executives will be gathering together to listen to visionary speakers, be the first to learn about Computing’s exclusive industry research, engage with colleagues, and walk away with fresh ideas that will produce change that can be implemented.

Kindly take notice that the first day in London is reserved only for IT experts working for end-user firms. After you have booked your spot, a confirmation email will be sent to you for all eligible registrations. On June 15 and 16, we will be hosting our virtual days, and we would like to welcome everyone.
