The IAPP, which was founded in 2000, is a non-profit organization that is uniquely positioned to assist define, enlighten, and promote the privacy profession through networking, education, and certification. The IAPP can assist evangelize the need for educated professionals to fulfill the rising expectations put on businesses and organizations managing data as the privacy profession develops and grows.

IAPP Data Protection Intensive: Deutschland 2022

The IAPP Data Protection Intensive: Deutschland 2022 is a two-day intensive learning and networking opportunity for the DACH data protection community. The nature of the event encourages in-depth discussions about topics of mutual interest. Join us in Munich to network with peers, regulators, and data protection professionals.

The program includes ten courses held in concurrent German and English language tracks. Sessions will cover practical problems in German data protection as well as worldwide developments affecting Germany. Breach response, changes in compliance issues, foreign data transfers, technological integration into data security procedures, and other issues are among them. The popular ‘Know Your Regulators’ and ‘German DPOs Share GDPR Stories’ sessions are back this year. They are opportunities to live back and forth with the people who create and enforce data privacy legislation.

IAPP Data Protection Intensive: UK 2023

Data protection in the United Kingdom is its own industry, but it is also an integral part of an international ecosystem. During the IAPP Data Protection Intensive: UK 2023, you will have the opportunity to investigate local data protection concerns from an international viewpoint.

The program for DPI: UK includes presentations from keynote speakers, breakout sessions, and workshops that delve into data protection legislation, policies, technological advancements, and operational best practices. Courses and workshops provide candidates with a wider knowledge base as well as preparation for the internationally recognized IAPP certification.

This year’s keynote address will be given by John Edwards, who is the Information Commissioner for the United Kingdom Information Commissioner’s Office.

IAPP Data Protection Intensive: France 2023

Participate in the IAPP’s fourth annual Data Protection Intensive, which will be held in Paris, France, in 2023. The event will take place on March 14 and 15, and it will provide two days of operational and practical data protection instruction that you can immediately put to use at your firm.

The speakers at this year’s event include regulators from the CNIL in addition to other local, regional, and international specialists in a wide variety of fields. The sessions will be presented in both English and French, and they will cover a wide variety of topics, including international data transfers, improvements to data protection program management, solutions to operational challenges for data protection officers (DPOs), and the implementation of new and pending AI regulations.
