Hackerz Voice was founded in 2003 by a group of individuals with the objective of exchanging information and organizing initiatives in the domains of white hat hacking and computer security.
HZV holds meetings on the first Saturday of each month in Paris, France, and they also host LeHack, an annual hacker conference for professionals and amateurs of all skill levels. One of the company’s goals is to educate the general public, providing everyone with the tools they need to comprehend and handle the difficulties and hazards of a modern lifestyle that incorporates new technology.
The founders formed under the name Hackerz Voice.
They were motivated to start the company after attending DEF CON, which is known as the most well-known and largest hacking convention in the United States.
The French underground hacking event known as “leHACK” is one of the oldest events of its kind and brings together professionals and amateurs of varying skill levels for a series of challenges and lectures. Visitors, regardless of their level of expertise, come to learn about and discuss the most recent developments in IT security in order to evaluate and/or improve their current situation.
The English-speaking conferences and workshops that were held during the 2010 iteration of this event helped to increase both the event’s overall quality and accessibility.
The event began with twenty participants and continued to expand over time by drawing an increasing number of participants, ranging from novices to seasoned experts. In 2011, it featured various speakers who are known internationally and held the attention of more than 950 visitors, including more than 50 challengers. During the course of this edition, the team was afforded the opportunity to play host to speakers of international renown.
