The goal of the Global Women in Data Science (WiDS) Conference is to inspire and educate data scientists from all over the world, regardless of gender, as well as to encourage women in the profession. WiDS South Florida is a stand-alone event produced by the WiDS South Florida Committee to coincide with the biennial Global Women in Data Science (WiDS) Conference, which takes place at Stanford University and other sites around the world. WiDS South Florida is open to people of all genders and celebrates great women doing outstanding things.
This half-day technical conference will give a chance to learn about the most recent data science-related research in a variety of fields, as well as meet with possible mentors, collaborators, and others in the field.
