HUDDLE 2022
The world in 2030 and beyond will be a significantly different place from the world we are familiar with right now. 5G is expected to play a significant role in the construction of the 2020s and the molding of a connected, smart, and intelligent wireless world. A new linked society is already beginning to form — a ‘network of networks’ that is driven by a variety of access technologies, including Wi-Fi, small cells, satellite, and terrestrial mobile networks, in addition to traditional mobile networks.
However, given the rate at which technology is evolving, it is conceivable that the boundaries of 5G as we know and understand it now will have been reached by 2030. Projections for the next phase of 5G, as well as the introduction of early phases of 6G, will be well underway by this time.
The Wireless World Research Forum’s 2022 Huddle, the 8th edition of its flagship series, will focus on the continuous path of technical improvement up to 2030 and beyond, as well as the transition towards 5G and future wireless connection. The event will be held in San Francisco, California.

The European Cyber Security Conference, now in its ninth year, will be held in Brussels and online in March. This Forum Europe conference, organized in collaboration with the European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO), will explore Europe’s response to cyber security issues in a dynamically evolving global risk landscape and what the next steps for all ecosystem actors should be to create a safe and secure environment allowing Europe to leverage the tremendous socio-economic opportunities.
HUDDLE 2023
6G is predicted to usher in a new era of seamless and unlimited connectivity between the internet and everyday life beyond 2030. Billions of connected humans and ‘things’ such as robots, automobiles, drones, and other gadgets will generate zettabytes of digital data.
If used correctly, 6G has the ability to improve practically every aspect of civilization, including how we live, work, and care for our planet.
With early visions of 6G developing, WWRF’s 2023 Huddle will examine the motivations and goals that will be critical in ensuring these visions are realized, as well as the significant difficulties that will need to be overcome in order for these to be delivered to the connected and unconnected world. It will investigate how 6G will begin to integrate the physical and digital worlds, as well as how existing and new technologies might work together to enable intriguing new use cases and applications. It will examine the opportunity that 6G brings in creating a beneficial influence on businesses and communities all around the world by concentrating on key issues such as security, sustainability, inclusivity, and digital transformation.
As we embark on the journey toward 6G, governments, connectivity providers, researchers, and other important stakeholders must collaborate to identify the roles that must be played to guarantee that this is also a path toward a better tomorrow. The WWRF Huddle will provide you with the opportunity to do so.
