More Information On Their Events

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) is a government agency in the United States that is in charge of protecting the nation’s vital infrastructure against cyber threats. CISA was created as part of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in 2018.

The primary goal of CISA is to protect the country’s essential infrastructure, which encompasses everything from power and transportation systems to banking institutions and healthcare facilities. The agency collaborates with other federal agencies, state and local governments, and private sector groups to discover, assess, and respond to cyber risks that threaten the nation’s security, economy, and public health.

CISA’s development of the Cybersecurity Framework is one of its most significant contributions to the business world. This framework provides principles and best practices for protecting organizations of all sizes against cyber attacks. The framework is scalable and versatile, allowing firms to tailor their cybersecurity strategy to their specific needs and risk factors.

CISA, in addition to the architecture, provides a variety of resources and services to assist organizations in improving their cybersecurity posture. Training and awareness initiatives, vulnerability assessments, incident response planning, and threat intelligence sharing are examples of these.

CISA is well-known for its participation in reacting to major cyber attacks such as the 2020 SolarWinds hack. The agency was essential in recognizing and minimizing the attack and coordinating the response with government and commercial sector partners.

Overall, CISA is a valuable resource for companies looking to improve their cybersecurity capabilities and protect themselves from an ever-changing threat landscape. Businesses can lower their risk of cyber attacks and protect their important assets by collaborating with CISA and using best practices established in the Cybersecurity Framework.

Industrial Control Systems Joint Working Group (ICSJWG) 2023

The mission of the Industrial Control Systems Joint Working Group (ICSJWG), which is hosted by the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), is to simplify the sharing of information and to mitigate the danger that is posed to the nation’s industrial control systems.

The Industrial Control Systems Joint Working Group (ICSJWG) serves as a medium through which federal agencies and departments, in addition to commercial asset owners and operators of industrial control systems, can communicate with one another and form partnerships across all Critical Infrastructure (CI) Sectors. The mission of the Industrial Control Systems Joint Working Group (ICSJWG) is to sustain and improve the collaborative efforts of the community of industrial control systems stakeholders in protecting critical infrastructure (CI). This will be accomplished by accelerating the design, development, and deployment of secure industrial control systems.
