CyberOwl has extended invitations to those interested in attending its annual maritime cybersecurity conference. During this year’s event, guests will examine the topic of readiness and ownership with respect to cyber dangers in shipping.
Cybersecure at Sea 2023: Who’s in Charge? is the name of the upcoming conference, which will center on the commercial, operational, legal, insurance, communication, and reputational repercussions of a cyber catastrophe. Participants will get the knowledge necessary to survive a cyber attack on fleet operations through the use of interactive activities.
The purpose of the conference is to determine the roles and responsibilities that each participant in the value chain, such as the charterer, shipowner, ship manager, insurer, and wider suppliers, should take on.
CyberOwl acknowledges the possibility that some attendees may be better prepared than others and encourages registrants to engage in self-reflection regarding their own level of readiness.
The gathering is planned to take place in Singapore, Athens, Oslo, and Hong Kong, with the possibility of taking place in more cities in the near future. This is the fourth conference, and the organizers have promised an atmosphere devoid of sales, with the primary emphasis being placed on learning, the exchange of experiences, and the development of a worldwide support network.
