The event’s main objective is to bring together all the communities from the area and throughout the world so that we may interact, hack, play, learn, share knowledge and experience, and, of course, have a good time.
A non-profit, community-run event, BalCCon features presentations and workshops given by and for the community. The goal of the organizers is to become the hub of the local hacker community and to provide everyone in this area of Europe a chance to interact and work together. A “Call for Papers” will be issued a few months before to the congress to solicit speakers and the program. The organizers have several distinguished community members scheduled as special guests. All applications submitted by individuals will be saved and evaluated by members of Congress.
