The Automotive Cyber Security Workshop aims to bring together researchers and practitioners who are interested in all facets of automotive systems security, allowing them to contribute to and discuss new developments in the field of automotive cybersecurity. The workshop’s purpose is to demonstrate current breakthroughs in the state-of-the-art cybersecurity of road vehicles by bringing together researchers and practitioners from all fields of computer security with a focus on automotive systems.
The submission of any and all papers that address concerns pertaining to the safety and confidentiality of today’s vehicles is encouraged by the workshop. Submissions that focus on the forensic investigation of modern car components, the security of communication networks found within and outside modern vehicles, and privacy concerns associated with modern information and entertainment systems are especially encouraged for ACSW. While the following list of topics may be of interest, it is not exhaustive:
- Verified and encrypted in-car and vehicle-to-everything connectivity
- Detection and prevention of intrusions in automotive systems and automotive cyber-physical systems
- Assessment of vulnerabilities and modeling of attacks on automobile communication protocols
- forensic investigation and the process of reverse engineering contemporary car parts
