Academic Conferences and Publishing International (ACPI) is headquartered in Reading, South Oxfordshire, England. ACPI is a global organization that holds cybersecurity conferences on all five continents in collaboration with colleges that want to host an international meeting of academic scholars.
ACPI’s principal function is academic conference administration on behalf of universities and other higher education institutions. Conferences are typically hosted by the university hosting the conference, with ACPI overseeing all administrative parts of the event.
ACPI collaborates with over a thousand research-active academics who help to assess academic research and serve on conference committees all around the world. We will evaluate any university as a potential host for one of our international events.
18th International Conference on Cyber Warfare and Security
Cybersecurity, Cyberwarfare, and Information Warfare are all specifically addressed by ICCWS.
The ICCWS has grown over the past 18 years into a significant conference in the field of cyber-security, drawing researchers, practitioners, and military personnel from all over the world to present their findings in the form of empirical studies, case studies, and other theoretical and practical contributions. Additionally, Ph.D. candidates consider this conference to be a beneficial chance to network with others and submit papers and posters.
Numerous security and military organizations, such as the Cyber Security Policy Research Institute, more than ten national defense academies, NATO, SHAPE, and others have attended the Conference throughout the years.
21st European Conference on Cyber Warfare and Security (ECCWS)
While the current geopolitical situation, as well as the wave of incidents revealed in recent years (such as the Mirai botnet, Stuxnet, and Blackenergy, among others), have helped raise general awareness about the impact of cyber-attacks on a variety of digital assets, from online services to critical infrastructures, there is still much work to be done.
This issue is exacerbated by trends such as the growing popularity of all types of linked, Internet-of-Things (IoT)-based gadgets, which are being installed practically everywhere, from domestic LANs to Industrial Automation and Control Systems (IACS). This scenario is a game changer for security frameworks and strategies, as infrastructure boundaries are pushed beyond the monolithic, self-hosted, and stakeholder-centric model and toward distributed and capillary service and device deployments involving multiple domains, such as cloud, telecommunications infrastructure, and utility providers.
Such systems must be securely maintained, monitored, and configured to avoid risks originating from cyberattacks, intrusions, and viruses that could compromise their operation or result in disasters. Collaboration is essential for bringing together all interested institutions and individuals, such as researchers, telecommunications operators, utilities, security solution suppliers, and even defense groups, to better understand how to work together to develop an optimal protection framework.
